DigiCert, supplier of digital safety and certificates administration, has acquired Vercara, a cloud-based service supplier specializing in managed DNS and DDoS safety, with the backing of Clearlake Capital Group, Crosspoint Capital Companions, and TA Associates Administration. This acquisition would strengthen DigiCert’s capacity to guard enterprises of all sizes from the rising tide of cyberattacks that threaten networks and purposes each day.

Vercara’s portfolio of providers, which incorporates its flagship product UltraDNS, would supply enterprise-grade managed authoritative DNS that “responds to requests shortly and securely, guaranteeing 100% web site availability.”

As well as, Vercara’s merchandise, resembling UltraDDoS Defend, UltraWAF, UltraAPI, and UltraEdge, would add a number of layers of safety to a company’s on-line infrastructure and purposes, enhancing safety towards varied cyber threats. Monetary phrases of the acquisition weren’t disclosed.
