DCA announces new partnership with Clear Decisions

The Information Centre Alliance (DCA) has partnered with Clear Selections to develop a dwell compliance and horizon-scanning service for UK information centres, evolving the DCA’s Laws Horizon Scan (2025–2027) right into a steady feed that helps operators observe and reply to regulatory and coverage change.

The organisations say the service will present DCA members with a web-based instrument, hosted on the DCA web site and powered by Clear Selections’ automation platform, to watch developments and prioritise actions throughout compliance and sustainability.

The joint initiative will run in two levels:

Part 1 (2025): Co-design of a pilot “Watchlist / Foresight Radar” with precedence subjects, to be introduced on the Information Centre Transformation Convention in October 2025.

Part 2 (January 2026): Launch of a dwell Watchlist dashboard on the DCA website, underpinned by Clear Selections’ platform.

The pilot will observe high-priority areas together with grid connection reforms, lithium-ion battery security, NIS cyber safety necessities, AI coverage, and carbon and water rules affecting planning and operations.

Steve Hone, CEO of the Information Centre Alliance, commented, “This partnership with Clear Selections is designed to ship actual worth to our members and the broader UK information centre group. By reworking our horizon scanning right into a dwell, automated service, we’re equipping operators, suppliers and coverage stakeholders with a sensible instrument to navigate fast-moving regulatory and compliance challenges.”

In response to the companions, the aim is to make compliance extra clear and proactive, lowering administrative burden and strengthening audit-readiness throughout totally different information centre varieties. The dwell service might be out there to all DCA members, with choices for broader sector entry from 2026.
