DataBank breaks ground on Orangeburg data center campus in New York

DataBank secures $725M credit facility to expand data center infrastructure in US

DataBank, an organization specializing in knowledge storage and administration providers, hosted a dedication ceremony yesterday for its new Orangeburg Knowledge Middle campus. Concurrently, the occasion celebrated the development progress of its first knowledge heart, LGA3, on the campus.

Based on the corporate, the development of the Orangeburg campus represents DataBank’s growth efforts within the rising New York market to deal with the rising want for IT infrastructure and providers. The Orangeburg knowledge heart is situated at 2000 Company Drive, roughly 30 miles north of Manhattan.

LGA3, the primary knowledge heart on the Orangeburg campus, is at the moment being constructed and is anticipated to open in early 2025. It’s going to provide 200,000 sq. ft of knowledge heart capability and 30MW of crucial energy, expandable to 45MW, equipped by means of an on-site substation. Plans for a second facility, LGA4, and extra infrastructure are additionally underway.

Raul Martynek, CEO of DataBank, highlights the importance of the brand new campus in supporting synthetic intelligence infrastructure in New York State’s Hudson Valley.
