CommScope debuts RUCKUS Edge for cloud-managed services at the network edge

CommScope launched the RUCKUS Edge cloud-managed platform for service supply on the community edge.

RUCKUS Edge extends the AI-driven RUCKUS One platform, enabling centralized management and efficiency administration. The platform helps scalable, low-latency networking, safety, and productiveness companies. It contains a zero-touch digital LAN service known as SD-LAN for simple deployment.

“We’re taking a daring step ahead by extending the capabilities of our AI-Pushed community assurance and enterprise intelligence platform, RUCKUS One, to the sting of the community,” acknowledged Bart Giordano, SVP and president, Networking Clever Mobile and Safety Options, CommScope. “The RUCKUS Edge platform permits RUCKUS Networks and its trusted expertise companions to ship a wide range of networking, safety, and productiveness companies on the fringe of the community to boost safety, privateness, efficiency and person expertise.”

RUCKUS Edge simplifies deployment and administration via a centralized cloud interface and affords improved safety with VXLAN-based remoted digital community segments.

The platform reduces latency by processing site visitors nearer to customers with seamless Wi-Fi roaming enabled throughout campuses with out interrupting connections.

Provided as a pay-as-you-go subscription mannequin permitting organizations to handle prices successfully, RUCKUS Edge enhances community resilience with redundant, clustered home equipment.

The platform integrates IT and IoT/OT networks for streamlined administration.
