Colohouse to elevate cloud and bare metal offering with Hivelocity acquisition

Colohouse, a colocation, cloud, internet hosting, and community providers sector, has introduced the acquisition of naked metallic internet hosting supplier Hivelocity.

In keeping with each corporations, the pair will mix their choices to give attention to cloud and naked metallic providers to fulfill rising market demand. The acquisition goals to help Colohouse’s infrastructure and current internet hosting providers with Hivelocity’s naked metallic servers, community automation, and digital personal cloud options.

Each corporations will combine their current providers and collectively launch a brand new personal cloud providing in Q3 of 2024. The brand new providing is designed for enterprise virtualization environments to optimize for workloads with advanced functions, architectures, scalability, and safety necessities.

Colohouse and Hivelocity will proceed to run as separate manufacturers for the rest of 2024, with plans to consolidate beneath the Hivelocity model.

The mixed firm will purpose to allow speedy deployment and scalability of personal compute and connectivity assets throughout dozens of home and worldwide areas, the corporate notes. This platform permits and integrates trendy capabilities together with developer instruments, APIs, and SDN.
