Cisco and Sharon AI, collectively with NVIDIA, opened Australia’s first Cisco Secure AI Factory for safe, high-performance AI infrastructure the place all processing occurs domestically.

The manufacturing unit runs on 1024 NVIDIA Blackwell Extremely GPUs complemented by Cisco UCS servers, Nexus Hyperfabric know-how and VAST Information storage programs deployed in NEXTDC’s Australian information facilities.

This initiative aligns with Australia’s Nationwide AI Plan, encouraging native and accountable AI growth whereas facilitating sooner enterprise adoption of AI throughout the Asia-Pacific area.

The manufacturing unit offers personalized AI providers for various sectors and encompasses a sandbox setting for proof of idea testing.

This distinctive collaboration places Australia on the forefront of safe and scalable AI infrastructure that drives innovation, competitiveness and provides enterprises and governments the flexibility to guide.

Cisco notes safe AI infrastructure is the important thing to gaining innovation and energy sovereignty.

Sharon AI explains how the deployment helps speed up enterprise AI adoption and increasing deeper into 2026 and past. It highlights the significance of safe AI infrastructure for APJ enterprises which can be empowered by the brand new AI manufacturing unit.
