Cisco launches AI-driven data fabric powered by Splunk

At this week’s Splunk .conf25 event in Boston, Cisco unveiled a brand new knowledge structure that’s powered by the Splunk platform and designed to assist enterprises glean AI-driven insights from machine-generated telemetry, resembling metrics, occasions, logs and traces. The brand new Cisco Knowledge Cloth integrates enterprise and machine knowledge for AI processing, and the Machine Knowledge Lake delivers a digital repository for federated knowledge sources.

The Cisco Knowledge Cloth is a framework designed to unify and combine knowledge from a number of sources, such because the cloud, on-premises, or throughout completely different platforms like Snowflake or Splunk Indexes, amongst different sources. Constructed utilizing Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud Platform capabilities, the info cloth can apply AI and machine studying to knowledge for deeper insights, and it federates and connects disparate knowledge silos to create a single view for analytics and AI functions.
