Wi-fi communications, sensing and edge AI service supplier Ceva, Inc. has introduced the overall launch of its RivieraWaves ultra-wideband (UWB) IP for FiRa 2.0.

The FiRa 2.0 is the most recent technical specification launched by the FiRa business consortium selling standardization and compliance efforts for the widespread adoption of UWB-driven purposes.

Ceva’s newest era UWB IP contains an interference cancellation scheme to supply what the corporate claims to be excellent efficiency for micro-location in high-density wi-fi environments such because the sensible residence and sensible manufacturing facility the place different wi-fi requirements akin to Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and ZigBee are pervasive.
