The introduction of Vultr CDN has been announced by Vultr, one of the world’s biggest privately owned cloud computing platforms. Constructed on top of Vultr’s global infrastructure, which spans six continents, Vultr now offers turnkey content delivery network services including global content and media caching for scaling websites and online applications to its global community of over 225K developers.

According to Vultr, due to the extreme complexity of traditional content delivery networks, web developers and organizations would need assistance to efficiently and economically design, operate, and optimize IT infrastructure. For the purpose of expediting the dissemination of digital material and meeting client demand, they would need instant access to a robust, scalable, and worldwide content delivery network.

The next stage of the company’s development into a top cloud computing platform is marked by this introduction of Vultr CDN. With a complete release scheduled for February, Vultr CDN is already available as a beta service at this moment.

With a claimed low bandwidth pricing level, Vultr CDN would offer a good price-to-performance, simplifying infrastructure operations with the addition of global content caching and delivery to Vultr’s current cloud architecture. Vultr also has special high-frequency plans, ideal for websites and content management systems that are powered by high clock speed CPUs and NVMe local storage – for customers who need the greatest performance CPUs.

J.J. Kardwell, CEO of Vultr’s parent company, Constant, said, “Over the past ten years, Vultr has grown to become the world’s largest privately-held cloud computing company. The launch of Vultr CDN is the next step in strengthening our portfolio of solutions for our worldwide developer community. With Vultr CDN, content delivery is made simple, allowing developers everywhere to effortlessly enable global, on-demand availability for all of their digital media and content.”

Image Optimization, Content Acceleration, API Caching

Vultr CDN would provide fast and secured content distribution for organizations that prioritize speed. It is designed for various purposes such as image optimization, content acceleration, and API caching. Vultr CDN can grow automatically and intelligently by determining the optimal location for content delivery via “seamless” interfaces with Vultr Cloud Compute. This optimizes user requests to save time and money.

Customers would gain from the introduction of Vultr CDN in this way:

  • Distributed cloud infrastructure across six continents – Vultr CDN is supported by a global infrastructure that uses carefully chosen cloud data center locations across six continents. No matter where the user is located, low latency content delivery would be guaranteed by this infrastructure. The fact that Vultr CDN has data centers spread across multiple areas would show that it can handle the difficulties posed by different Internet connection conditions and geographic distance.
  • Price-to-performance – Vultr CDN would offer low bandwidth pricing with cost-effectiveness throughout six continents.
  • Built-in security and compliance – Vultr CDN would protect digital assets from a range of cyber threats with strong security features like AI Blocking and Bad Bots Blocking. Ensuring data integrity and trust via adherence to industry-leading security standards would create a secure environment for content delivery requirements.
  • Easily connect Vultr CDN-cached content with well-known CMS systems – Users may take use of community-developed plugins and extensions. They can also take advantage of lower latency and avoided downtime, guaranteeing that information is always accessible at the edge, near end users, for a great online experience.

Using a global network infrastructure, Vultr CDN would ensure that content is cached closer to users on six continents for object caching. Global integration with Vultr Object Storage would significantly lower latency while enhancing media delivery and website content responsiveness.
