Bitzero Raises $25M in Funding

Bitzero, a Vancouver, Canada-based firm which makes a speciality of sustainable Blockchain and Excessive-Efficiency Compute (HPC) knowledge facilities, raised $25M in funding.

Backers weren’t disclosed.

The corporate intends to make use of the funds for the acquisition of two,900 Bitmain S21 Professional miners, working at a 15 joules per terahash.

Led by President and CEO Mohammed Bakhashwain, Bitzero Blockchain is an ESG-focused supplier growing IT power infrastructure and sustainable energy technology for knowledge facilities. The corporate owns and operates services in North America and Europe, supporting high-performance compute and blockchain workloads utilizing hydroelectric and low-carbon power sources.
