Arati Prabhakar, the president’s chief advisor for science and know-how, said the funding will drive developments within the semiconductor sector. She argued that the ME Commons programme will produce essential elements to extend the nation’s defence capabilities whereas rising safety and competitiveness.

The ME Commons programme, launched in 2023, includes eight regional hubs that may obtain a complete of $2 billion in funding by way of to 2027.
