Besseges Receives Investment from BGF

Besseges, a Dukinfield, Manchester, UK-based lively hearth safety and services administration enterprise for the retail, industrial and schooling sectors, acquired an funding from BGF.

The quantity of the deal was not disclosed.

The funding from BGF will permit the enterprise to proceed its natural progress and take into account strategic M&A because it grows from its North West and Midlands heartlands to offering a nationwide service. 

Based in 1976, Besseges has a heritage in putting in hearth sprinkler programs. In 2022, the enterprise was acquired by CEO David Prendergast and non govt director Graham Norfolk and has delivered important progress since then with headcount increasing from 5 to 60 in that interval. Besseges has additionally expanded its service providing to incorporate: hearth safety set up, hearth safety service & upkeep, and services upkeep throughout HVAC, industrial heating and plumbing gear, and electrical programs. 

The deal was led by Rhys Davenport an investor in BGF’s North West workforce. As a part of the funding, Mike Brown will be a part of the board as non-executive chair (NXC). He has been launched by BGF’s Expertise Community – one of many largest teams of board-level executives within the UK and Eire and was previously NXC of BGF-backed Horbury.
