Baxter Aerospace Raises $6M in Series A Funding

Baxter Aerospace, a St. George, UT-based aerospace system integrator, raised $6M in Collection A funding.

DoD Accelerator fund made the funding.

The corporate intends to make use of the funds to assist fast manufacturing of each the Dragonfly Unmanned Plane and the Deployable Communications Kits, and broaden area operations.

Led by President Michael Baxter, Baxter Aerospace operates on the intersection of edge connectivity, unmanned aerial techniques, and precision manufacturing. The corporate’s present efforts focus on:

  • Precision parts for power techniques – Leveraging its vertically built-in manufacturing unit, Baxter additionally manufactures bespoke, ultra-high-reliability parts for the fusion and nuclear power sectors, serving prospects in protection and demanding infrastructure.
  • Deployable communications kits – The corporate is provisioning plane and field-deployed platforms with broadband satellite tv for pc communications techniques to assist austere operations throughout firefighting, catastrophe response, and protection missions. These techniques incorporate compact, cellular terminals enabled by main low Earth orbit (“LEO”) networks, procured via formal reseller agreements and operated on a wide selection of U.S. authorities public security use circumstances.
