atNorth, the main Nordic colocation, high-performance computing, and synthetic intelligence service supplier, has secured land within the Sollefteå Municipality, in Hamre Industripark in Långsele, Sweden.

The 30 hectare plot is strategically situated for its infrastructure, vitality capability and advantages from Sweden’s cool local weather, abundance of renewable vitality and expert workforce.

“It is a implausible alternative for Sollefteå Municipality and the Hamre space”, mentioned Johan Andersson, Chair of the Municipal Govt Committee. “We’re delighted to collaborate with atNorth, an organization that leads in knowledge middle options and sustainable expertise. This mission may help strengthen our area as a hub for progressive improvement”.

atNorth opened its state-of-the-art SWE01 web site in Stockholm in 2022. The secured land in Sollefteå Municipality is meant to be the placement of atNorth’s first mega web site in Sweden.

“We’re excited to be exploring the potential for a brand new mega web site in Sweden to enhance our present metro websites”, says Eyjólfur Magnús Kristinsson, CEO at atNorth. “Because the demand for our sustainable infrastructure continues to extend we’re dedicated to scaling in a accountable means that advantages the Nordic areas we inhabit”.

The information follows the current announcement of the growth of atNorth’s ICE02 and ICE03 knowledge facilities in Iceland and the revelation of its latest knowledge middle improvement, DEN02, situated in Ølgod in Varde, Denmark. The enterprise has 3 different new knowledge middle websites in improvement, two in Finland, FIN02 situated in Sinimäentie, Espoo and FIN04 situated in Kouvola and a further web site in Denmark, DEN01, situated within the Ballerup area of the nation.
