Cloud hosting firm Atlantic.Net, known for working with companies such as Lenovo, NASA, and Hilton, has announced its expansion to new horizons with the inauguration of a new data centre in Singapore. This move comes in alliance with the Singapore government’s increasing investment in cloud computing, a development poised to stimulate a new phase of cloud revolution in the region.

Atlantic.Net, an eminent provider of cloud hosting solutions, broke the news about its cloud region launch in Singapore, the fastest flourishing Asian market today. This region’s exposure is greatly significant considering the Singaporean government’s escalation of investments in cloud computing.

This includes significant strides in their Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) service, which enhances the ease with which public sector organisations manage and secure their public cloud services procured from tech giants such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.

“We’re excited to continue expanding our footprint globally, especially in a location that has proven its commitment to cloud through high-dollar investments and has attracted the attention of leading cloud-based companies,” exclaimed Marty Puranik, CEO and founder of Atlantic.Net. “The world is becoming even more connected with each passing day, particularly with the increase in cloud computing investments. This expansion into Singapore will allow the Atlantic.Net team to further support partners in a blossoming region.”

Atlantic.Net specialises in a variety of hosting services. This includes on-demand cloud, turnkey cloud, dedicated hosts, dedicated servers, colocation, private virtualisation, and managed hosting. In addition to Singapore, the firm offers scalable computing from a collection of seven secure, data centres stationed globally. These centres inhabit various cities like New York, London, San Francisco, Toronto, Dallas, Ashburn and Orlando, each designed to offer fault-tolerant and super-speedy performance.

Sharing a new offer, Atlantic.Net has announced a year’s free cloud server to all its new customers. This includes 2GB RAM, 50 GB SSD disk, and 3TB monthly transfer. Moreover, a $250 free credit is being offered to new customers who sign up for its cloud platform, which can be utilised for up to 60 days.

As the Singaporean government and businesses continue to consider cloud technologies as a top priority, Atlantic.Net states it is ‘extremely pleased’ to be recognised as one of the top cloud providers in the region, working towards further growth and advancement in the field of cloud technologies.

Atlantic.Net is a global cloud services provider with a focus on security, compliance, and simplifying complex infrastructures. With over 29 years of experience, Atlantic.Net offers developers and IT leaders at small, medium, and large organisations a range of on-demand, customised, and cost-effective cloud solutions that cater to their business needs.
