Armada secures $131M to scale modular AI data centers for edge deployment

Armada, an edge computing infrastructure firm, introduced a $131M strategic funding spherical with new and current buyers to scale manufacturing of Leviathan, a megawatt-scale modular knowledge heart (MDC). 

Leviathan is a ruggedized, full-stack MDC designed for quick, versatile deployment, providing 10x extra compute energy than Armada’s earlier fashions. The MDC is adaptable, deployable in weeks, and might function in distant areas utilizing various vitality sources like stranded pure gasoline, photo voltaic, or nuclear. 

Leviathan goals to advance U.S. management in vitality and AI by enabling distributed AI coaching and inference in contested and communication-challenged areas.

The product is a part of Armada’s Galleon product line and is powered by the Armada Edge Platform (AEP), delivering scalable, autonomous compute capabilities.
