Apptronik, an Austin, TX-based AI-powered humanoid robotics firm, raised $350M in Sequence A funding.

The spherical was led by B Capital and Capital Manufacturing facility, with participation from Google.

The corporate intends to make use of the funds to speed up the deployment of Apollo, whereas scaling operations, accelerating innovation, and rising its staff to satisfy the demand for brand new AI-powered humanoid robots.

Led by CEO Jeff Cardenas, Apptronik is a human-centered robotics firm growing AI-powered humanoid robots aiming to create human helpers to assist humanity in each aspect of life. Its robotic, Apollo, is designed to collaborate with people, initially in crucial industries reminiscent of manufacturing and logistics, with future functions in healthcare, the house, and past. Apollo is the fruits of almost a decade of growth, drawing on Apptronik’s work on 15 earlier robots, together with NASA’s Valkyrie robotic.

Apptronik began out of the Human Centered Robotics Lab on the College of Texas at Austin and has over 150 workers. The corporate additionally established a landmark strategic partnership with the Google DeepMind robotics staff to mix AI with its humanoid robotic platform. Moreover, they secured foundational industrial agreements with trade leaders Mercedes-Benz and GXO Logistics, demonstrating the functions and market demand for its superior humanoid robots.
