Antti Poikola helps steer Finland towards sustainable data infrastructure

Antti “Jogi” Poikola has been appointed as the brand new Managing Director of the Finnish Information Heart Affiliation (FDCA), efficient 2 February 2026.

The info centre trade in Finland is experiencing vital progress, and Poikola’s function as Managing Director will contain overseeing the affiliation’s day-to-day operations, collaborating with stakeholders, and coordinating actions with the Board and member firms. FDCA represents a variety of firms concerned within the knowledge centre sector, together with operators, service suppliers, building and upkeep companies, consulting firms, and different stakeholders. Its membership now exceeds 200 firms.

Poikola brings expertise in data and know-how coverage, public affairs communications, and constructing nationwide and European networks. He beforehand served as Lead Skilled within the knowledge economic system at Expertise Industries of Finland.

In his new function, Poikola has said: “Internationally, Finland is named a rustic of sustainable knowledge facilities. We should absolutely leverage this place and construct a robust Finnish ecosystem round knowledge middle investments.”

Based in 2014, the FDCA goals to help the expansion and improvement of Finland’s knowledge centre trade, selling sustainable practices and collaboration amongst its members.
