Anduril Industries, an Orange County, CA-based protection expertise firm, acquired Klas, a Dublin, Eire-based edge computing and tactical communications firm.
The quantity of the deal was not disclosed.
With the acquisition, Klas will proceed working from its services in Eire and the U.S., with plans to broaden manufacturing to help demand throughout the Anduril portfolio. The deal may also set up Anduril’s first workplace in Dublin, furthering its worldwide presence throughout Europe, United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and Taiwan.
Klas is an engineering and design firm with over 30 years of expertise creating modern rugged, scalable and transportable communications options for the community edge. Its rugged, low measurement, weight and energy (SWaP) deployable communications options are designed to fulfill the wants of presidency, army, automotive and transportation communicators. Its capabilities embrace product design and configuration, community administration, options improvement, fielding and coaching.
The corporate operates throughout two places of work situated in Herndon, VA and Tampa, FL with company places of work situated in Washington, D.C. and internationally in Dublin, Eire.
