amnis Receives CHF 10M in Funding

amnis, a Zurich, Switzerland-based fintech firm offering a world banking platform, raised CHF 10M in funding.

The spherical was led by Swisscom Ventures. Along side the funding, Semih Kaçan, Funding Director at Swisscom Ventures, joined as a brand new Board member. Peter Gerlach has been appointed as the brand new President of the Board.

The corporate intends to make use of the funds to consolidate its place in current markets whereas accelerating growth into new ones, and combine accounting methods and ERP functionalities from third-party suppliers.

Based in 2014 by Michael Wüst (CEO), Robert Bloch (COO), and Philippe Christen (CFO), amnis is devoted to facilitating worldwide enterprise for SMEs, a sector with huge potential that’s usually underserved by conventional banks. It brings international transaction banking to SMEs throughout Europe, together with clear forex change, cross-border and native funds, real-time transfers, and native accounts in Switzerland, Germany, Nice Britain, and the US.

At present, amnis serves greater than 3’000 corporations from over 35 international locations. The corporate plans to begin enterprise operations in further European international locations and to boost its providers, together with e-commerce options, further accounting integrations, and embedded card options.
