AMD is investigating claims of stolen company data

Microsoft and OpenAI say hackers are using ChatGPT to improve cyberattacks

AMD is wanting into a possible cyberattack. A menace actor that goes by the alias “IntelBroker” is promoting information that it claims was obtained from an AMD.com breach this month, BleepingComputer studies, and the corporate confirmed in a press release that it’s wanting into the purported theft. IntelBroker claims that the info on the market contains future merchandise, worker databases, and buyer databases.

“We’re conscious of a cybercriminal group claiming to be in possession of stolen AMD information,” AMD stated within the assertion given to BleepingComputer, PCMag, and Bloomberg. “We’re working carefully with regulation enforcement officers and a third-party internet hosting companion to research the declare and the importance of the info.”

In 2022, AMD confirmed it was investigating claims that the hacking group RansomHouse stole 450GB of knowledge.
