AMD and Meta align roadmaps in 6GW AI infrastructure deal

AMD has introduced a multi-year partnership with Meta to deploy Meta’s AI infrastructure in 6 gigawatts of AMD Intuition GPUs.

Meta will obtain customized AMD Intuition high-performance GPUs based mostly on the MI450 structure and optimized for its workloads, with shipments commencing through the second half of 2026.

The partnership brings AMD and Meta’s roadmaps collectively for GPUs, CPUs, and software program to ship scalable, energy-efficient AI platforms.

Meta may also combine AMD’s 6th Gen EPYC CPUs, codenamed “Venice,” throughout its AI infrastructure for workload density and environment friendly efficiency.

AMD granted Meta a efficiency warrant for as much as 160 million shares, linked to GPU cargo targets and inventory worth benchmarks.

The partnership can be anticipated to ship a multi-year enhance in income for AMD, and assist Meta obtain its subsequent step of worldwide innovation with AI.
