Altavo, a Dresden, and Jena, Germany-based AI-based voice rehabilitation firm, raised €5M in Sequence A funding.

The spherical was led by Occident with participation from Novalis Biotech, Beteiligungsmanagement Thüringen, TGFS Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen, Excessive-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), Saxonia Programs Holding, and TUDAG TU Dresden AG.

The corporate intends to make use of the funds to speed up progress, product growth, the pivotal medical trial, and internationalization.

Led by CEO Rudolf von Bünau, Altavo is advancing Synthetic Voice, a medical gadget designed to assist unvoiced individuals, for instance after laryngectomy or throughout mechanical air flow, regain their very own, pure sounding voice. The proprietary “silent speech” know-how, which has been developed in collaboration with Technical College Dresden, is predicated on non-invasive radar sensing and the most recent neural internet architectures.
