With the release of DeltaFlow~, a patent-pending liquid cooling technology, Aligned Data Centers has made a major new contribution to the data center market. This innovative method has the potential to completely change how data centers handle the growing needs of high-density computing, especially in domains like high-performance computing (HPC), machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI).

DeltaFlow~ would mark a key extension of Aligned’s ExpandOnDemand capabilities, which have been central to the company’s approach for over a decade. Regardless of their applications, density requirements, or cooling demands, its features would let customers easily expand and modify their computing environments.

According to Aligned CEO Andrew Schaap, their data center designs are built with the capacity to effortlessly grow across increasing rack densities for their clients. He points out that DeltaFlow~ is a logical development of these capabilities, providing a universal liquid cooling platform that optimizes chipset technological advancements and leverages graphics processing units (GPUs) for a range of computing applications, all while addressing issues with risk, cost, and time-to-market.

A noteworthy characteristic of Aligned’s technology would be how simple it is for clients to switch from air-cooled to liquid-cooled systems. This change is made feasible by the company’s Delta3 and DeltaFlow~ cooling technologies, which allow hybrid cooling systems – which mix liquid and air – to be installed in the same data hall. With this method, there is no longer a need to develop brand-new AI-focused build-to-suit data centers or fully retrofit existing ones. Significantly, because of its standard, closed-loop technology, Aligned’s solutions would enable a broad variety of densities, from three to 300 kW per rack and beyond, while adhering to a strong commitment to sustainability and waterless designs.

Scalable Cooling, Universally Designed

The purpose of DeltaFlow~ is to make liquid-cooled deployments easier to implement by offering a turnkey solution that is supplied via a standardized approach. Aligned’s technology is scalable and universally designed to accommodate clients’ customization needs. It is compatible with existing and emerging liquid cooling methods, including as immersion cooling, rear-door heat exchangers, and direct-to-chip technology. Furthermore, DeltaFlow~ would smoothly interacts with Delta3, Aligned’s unique air-cooled technology, necessitating no modifications to power supply or the current data hall temperature. This characteristic would guarantee a seamless shift from air to liquid cooling, even in operating settings.

As part of its ongoing commitment to innovation, Aligned works closely with top semiconductor and server manufacturers. This collaboration would guarantee that clients will gain from an adaptable and universal architecture that satisfies their present and future cooling requirements, in line with the changing requirements of next-generation applications and the dynamic environment of high-density computing.
