AlgoFace and Unigen bring scalable face AI to edge for real-time privacy

AlgoFace and Unigen, a world supplier of embedded computing options, introduced a strategic partnership to combine scalable face AI infrastructure with {hardware} options. 

The partnership debuted just lately at ISC West 2025 and Del Mar Electronics & Manufacturing Present, showcasing real-time video anonymization utilizing AlgoFace’s Face Redaction SDK on Unigen’s edge-ready {hardware} platforms. 

The collaboration goals to develop past face redaction, incorporating AlgoFace’s full suite of Face AI capabilities, together with 2D/3D facial evaluation, eye monitoring, and face animation. Unigen said in a press launch that it sees this as a leap ahead in delivering full edge AI options.

These options goal privacy-conscious, AI-powered purposes throughout industries like sensible cities, healthcare, retail, and industrial automation. 

“We’re excited to develop our partnership with AlgoFace,” says Paul W. Heng, Founder and CEO of Unigen. “Our joint efforts are already proving that high-performance AI doesn’t have to come back at the price of privateness or effectivity. Collectively, we’re constructing options that may scale throughout industries and use circumstances.”

The businesses plan to showcase additional improvements at upcoming 2025 conferences and develop turnkey hardware-software options for real-world deployment.
