Akamai and VAST Data partner to tackle edge AI latency and scalability challenges

Akamai and VAST Information have partnered to reinforce data-intensive AI inferencing by combining Akamai’s distributed platform with VAST’s AI data platform. 

The collaboration addresses challenges akin to latency, value, and scalability for deploying AI-powered purposes at scale. 

Akamai’s distributed cloud infrastructure is uniquely positioned to ship AI inference on the edge, bettering native response instances and localization. The mixing with VAST Data supplies customers with quick, safe entry to information throughout edge and cloud by way of a single world namespace. 

This partnership seeks to democratize edge AI computing by reducing prices and bettering buyer experiences, supporting Akamai’s imaginative and prescient for a extra distributed cloud mannequin and addressing the calls for of an edge-centric future.
